This sandy, south-west facing slope is situated east of the village of Kleneč and it is the habitat of the endemic species of the Bohemian Sand Pink. The grassy hill is covered in sand loving grasses. Typical species are sweet vernal grass, Common Bent, Festuca, Potentilla arenaria and also Festuca psammophila. The endemic Bohemian Sand Pink is strictly connected with this type of site, unfortunately the sites have disappeared due to natural succession. Kleneč is the only place where this species can be found. Invertebrate fauna is particularly significant here. More than 150 types of insects, out of which more than 100 types of beetles and 12 types of ants, three of which fall into the category of especially protected species, can be found here. Currently, the protected area is a forest of common pine and self-seeding acacia. The locality forms a part of Natura 2000 and the Bohemian Sand Pink is under its protection.
