There is a lovely 5 km and not very demanding walk you might like to take along Milešovský Stream. In the upper part of the valley there area meadows, in the central and lower parts of the valley there are mostly forests and sometimes also rocks. The valley runs parallel with the local Lovosice - Teplice railway line and in the upper part of the valley you can see the massive spans of the D8 motorway. Several mills used to be situated in the valley, the last of them was still in operation during the Second World War. You can see several original mill races in the countryside. It is also worth mentioning the ruins of the Gothic Opárno Castle that are perched at the wooded top above the village of Opárno. The castle dates back to the 14th century and in its surroundings you will find remains of ancient quarries. From the castle you will have lovely views across the valley and other peaks in the valley. A children's summer camp can be found in the woods of the Oparenské Valley.
Lovoš Nature Trail intersects the valley; the trail starts in Malé Žernoseky. The yellow marked trail from Malé Žernosek turns to Císařské schody and takes you all the way up to Lovoš.
