Thanks to its remarkable position in the landscape and fine curve of its volcanic shape Kletečná is considered to be a sister hill of Milešovka, on the side of which it stands and with which it forms an integral panoramic symbol of České středohoří (the Czech Central Mountains). Its peak has attracted humans since time immemorial. This is proved by two late Bronze age sickles that had been buried here, undoubtedly as cult objects. With the exception of the south-western side, where a stone sea is located, the steep detritus slopes in the uppermost part are covered with sparse greenwood. The hilltop itself is a small platform in whose centre there is a high stone mound. Even though the rich vegetation prevents a 360-degree view of the landscape, smaller vistas offer the view of for example far away Ještěd in favourable weather. Another possibility is the above-mentioned bare south-western slope to be found a bit lower under the top.
There is no official tourist path leading to the top of Kletečna, yet it is relatively well accessible. We will take the right turn at the last house in Kletečna (the name "Selma" is inscribed in the gable). We will slowly climb a pleasant forest path that encircles the uppermost part of the hill, before we appear almost on the other side. Before the path starts descending again, we will turn left to the less maintained forest track, from which a narrow path to the top separates after a while, criss-crossing the steep detritus all the way up.
