The church was built between the years 1597–1604 by Rudolf von Bünau the owner of the Castle in Krásné Březno as the family chapel dedicated to Mary the Virgin. The church was dedicated to St. Florian in the year 1897, when the independent parish was established. The St. Florian Church is the unique memorabilia of so called Saxon Renaissance and this style remains well preserved till our times.
